Huston Farms Breeding

From our inception, Huston Farms have believed in the "power of genetics". Our cattle operation was developed around a foundation of very "complete" females. Our cows are mated to only the most proven bulls in the Limousin breed. We achieve quality and consistency with selective mating and by using superior management practices. Our cattle are bred to provide efficient production of lean meat without the use of growth hormones.

Over the past couple of years, Huston Farms has introduced the Lim-Flex breed into our cattle program. The Lim-Flex is a breed of cattle that is a minimum of ½ Limousin and a minimum of ¼ Angus. This bred was introduced into the Huston Farms cattle program to further enhance the genetic traits of the products we produce.
