About Huston Farms

Huston Farms started in the Limousin cattle business in 1994. Since that time Huston Farms has developed into a home for a top quality breed of Limousin cattle. We are a family farm operation that is located in the beautiful Cottage Grove, WI area. Andy Hornung, Farm Operations Manager, does an excellent job of managing our current operation of more than 500 plus acres with over 100 brood cows. We are one of the largest beef herd in Dane County

Our goal at Huston Farms is to produce a quality product: from tender, flavorful lean beef to superior breeding stock. Come visit us at the farm and see for yourself the "Huston" difference. We are currently introducing the Red Angus breed of cattle to compliment and further enhance our quality line of beef and cattle products.

Limousin Cattle
Kept secret by French chefs for centuries, Limousin cattle were discovered by American beef producers about 35 years ago. With a 20,000 year history tracing to Limoges region of France, today they are a major cattle breed in the United States. They have the unique and natural ability to genetically "trim the fat" yet produce full flavor beef.

Limousin contain no more cholesterol than chicken, pork or other meats (data from USDA and Meat Board Nutritional Studies). Also, Limousin excels in producing genetically leaner beef – less than half the saturated fat of choice beef (per research conducted at Texas Tech, Iowa State and Texas A&M Universities)

Health conscious consumers are becoming fully aware of the lower cholesterol, fewer calories, yet more tender and flavorful beef produced from Limousin cattle.
